Benefits of commencing your Social Work career in the HSC

• You will have the security of a HSC Contract of Employment (subject to NISCC registration and completing pre-employment checks).
  
  
• A starting salary of £31,049 as a newly qualified Band 5 Social Worker.
  
  
• You will be fully supported to complete your Assessed Year in Employment in the Trust by having;
  

- a range of training and professional development opportunities to evidence your competence as a Social Worker.

- a protected caseload and dedicated time for your professional development.

- ongoing supervision and support from your line manager and other team members.

- advice and assistance from experienced social work practitioners.

• On completion of your AYE, you will progress to Band 6 Social Worker (£38,682 - £46,580 per year).
  
  
• You will have 27 days paid holidays per year (gradually increasing to 33 days) and an additional 10 Bank/Public holidays.
  
  
• Once you have completed your AYE the Trust will continue to invest in your professional development by providing a range of learning and improvement opportunities.
